Happivale Social Club is a long-established and much-loved community facility serving the local area. We were instructed to undertake a comprehensive survey of the building to assess its condition, identify repair requirements and assist with future maintenance planning.
The survey considered the overall condition of the premises together with any apparent statutory compliance issues. Particular attention was given to identifying repair requirements and helping the management team understand and plan for future maintenance liabilities associated with the building.
Our findings were supported by annotated photographs and clear recommendations set out in a tabular format, allowing repair works to be prioritised and aligned with the client’s annual maintenance budgets.
Challenges
Like many community organisations, Happivale Social Club needed to balance the maintenance needs of the building against available resources. Recommendations were therefore prioritised according to urgency, enabling essential works to be addressed first whilst longer-term repairs could be planned and budgeted for over time.
Conclusion
The completed report provided the client with a clear understanding of the condition of the building together with a practical maintenance strategy for the years ahead, helping to support the continued use of this important community facility.
