Brio Building Consultancy was appointed to assess the condition of a large children’s centre and nursery and develop a practical planned maintenance strategy to help guide future investment in the building.
The nursery manager required a clear understanding of future maintenance liabilities to assist with budgeting, asset management and long-term investment planning.

A detailed inspection of the building was undertaken, covering roofs, rainwater goods, windows, external elevations, building services and internal accommodation.
The findings were reviewed alongside the age, construction and anticipated service life of the various building elements to create a practical and cost-effective maintenance programme.

A fully costed five-year maintenance programme was prepared, enabling the client to:- Forecast future expenditure with greater confidence.
